In the exhibition, ‘Julius’, Ben-Gal  presents a new body of work that combines painting and images printed in Screenprint. In his new works, Ben-Gal develops the tensions between the gestural expression and the iconic character of printed images; minor news worthy events that have undergone the blow-up process; raising questions dealing with the relations of surface-to-image, and sampling and repetition. Ben-Gal's work combine images that are located in the provisional field of the personal within the public identity.
